利用红外光谱研究了施加底涂前(N4)及施加活化剂+底涂后(NS)不锈钢粘接表面化学结构的变化,如图5所示。其中,1 457 cm,1 508 cm和1 606 cm处为苯环振动峰,1 181 cm和1 232cm处为C一0的非对称伸缩振动峰,915 cm,1 036cm处为环氧振动峰,2 930 cm处为C一H伸缩振动吸收峰,由于原始不锈钢表面未见谱峰,因此NS试样红外光谱中的振动吸收峰为活化剂及底涂剂的特征峰。由于环氧键是三角形结构,键与键之间存在巨大的张力,因此环氧键具有高活性,这可能是施加底涂后提升材料粘接性的一个重要原因。此外,活化剂是一种含有能促进茹性的活性物质的醇溶液,与单组分MS密封胶搭配使用,可以有效清洁和活化金属等非孔性被粘基材,提高粘接性能。活化剂和底涂剂中所包含的柔性和润湿促进作用的有机基团,可提升MS密封胶在不锈钢基材表面的润湿力和吸附力,避免不锈钢表面或表面微孔因所吸附的空气和水分而形成弱边界层,从而有效改善了胶接件的耐湿热性能。
拉伸剪切性能
与胶条剥离试样相同环境下采用相同表面处理工艺制作3组对比拉伸剪切试样,以期将不同表面处理下粘接性能定量表征。结果如图6所示,可见N4试样断裂强度最低,为1. 0 MPa , NS和N6试样拉剪力相当,分别约为1.7 MP。和1. 8 MPa。作为密封部位,单组分MS密封胶粘接允许拉伸剪切强度值为不小于1. 5 MPa,可见,仅清洁处理(N4)试样粘接强度不满足要求,而表面活化+底涂处理的(NS)试样粘接强度满足设计要求。考虑到在实际施工时清洁+打磨对于场景适应性会差一些,因此刷活化+底涂的方式可以同时提高粘接性和具备工程适应性。此外,N4拉剪断裂宏观形貌如图7所示,接头破坏形式为界面开裂,而NS,N6试样均为MS密封胶内聚破坏。选取N4和N6试样起裂区典型断口SEM观察可见,N4试样断面光滑平整,N6试样断口微观形貌为蜂窝状,大量MS密封胶填充料外露,剪切面沿填充料侧边撕裂,这种断裂形式对粘接接头的抗断裂性能的提升具有重要影响。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
