1)沥青:用沥青嵌缝膏;

2)改性沥青:用改性沥青玛蹄脂，在有位移的重要的地方，使用品质好的聚氨酯或硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶;

3)EPDM:搭接缝采用溶剂型封缝膏，泛水采用硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶，硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶通常不与EPDM粘结。

4)PVC:用聚酩、聚氨酯或厉固化硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶;

5)(不超过6个月):只用新鲜的密封胶，对使用已久的，不要用密封胶，因为很可能失败;

6)TPO:使用聚氨酯或硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶配以有效的TPO底涂料;

7)聚氨酯泡沫:用聚氨酯，肪固化硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶或聚氨酯密封胶;

8)大多数金属屋面:聚氨酷或肪固化硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶(不腐蚀的)和硅烷改性聚氨酯密封胶都很好;
