密封防护设计常见的桥梁防撞墙伸缩缝丁基防水嵌缝密封胶密封防护方案主要有以下几种:1)填充木条或泡沫密封;2)采用沥青或改性沥青密封;3)丁基防水嵌缝密封胶密封，内部填充泡沫塑料。三种案的优缺点对比，见表1。其中丁基防水嵌缝密封胶密封、填充泡沫塑料，是目前比较成熟的伸缩缝密封防护方案，充分利用了丁基防水嵌缝密封胶低模量、高伸长率的特点，对伸缩缝起到良好的密封防护效果。但是丁基防水嵌缝密封胶在后期使用中会释放小分子物质，导致其外渗进而污染基材;且丁基防水嵌缝密封胶表面涂饰性较差，限制了其使用。
