建筑MS密封胶的施工性能主要有:硫化性能、操作性能和对施工人员的安全性等。

MS密封胶的硫化特性包括硫化的时间和温度控制。大多数硫化型弱性MS密封胶的硫化时间较长。硫化时间长，会降低生产效率，但硫化时间过短会缩短MS密封胶贮存期。非硫化性MS密封胶在使用前后保持相同粘度而不发生化学变化，为便于使用，有时也用些溶剂，其硬度周期取决于溶剂挥发速度。热塑性树脂MS密封胶可溶解于溶剂中，也可制成水剂乳液，还可用增塑剂改性，有时还要加入填料及补强剂。它们全都是热软化型，在硬化期间不发生化学变化。硬化型MS密封胶有单、双组分两种。单组分MS密封胶有些以水(湿)气作催化剂(如聚硫、聚氨酯>，在湿气存在下通过化学变化而交联。有些MS密封胶需加热，以加速硫化。一般MS密封胶在仅有20%相对湿度的空气中就可硫化，双组分MS密封胶一经与硫化剂和促进剂混合，在室温下就可发生硫化。溶剂挥发型MS密封胶(如丁基MS密封胶、丙烯酸MS密封胶)含有大量溶剂，在固化时首先使溶剂挥发，但不发生化学反应，在设计接缝时应考虑到溶剂挥发及因溶剂挥发引起的MS密封胶收缩等问题。www.sdyuantai.com
