通过异氰酸醋封端的聚氨醋预聚体,对端丁基防水嵌缝胶进行共混改性,所生成的透明丁基防水嵌缝胶具有良好的综合性能,其特色主要表现在以下两个方面:①较好的透明性:聚氨醋和端硅烷聚醚预聚体都含有长的聚醚链段,使两者获得良好的相容性,同时通过调节催化剂,控制两者因固化速度差异所导致相分离;②良好的综合性能:聚氨醋含有氨醋键等硬链段,其与聚醚链段或相互之间形成的氢键作用提高了胶的内聚能,使改性胶在力学性能和粘结性能上较丁基防水嵌缝胶得到提高,同时改性胶具有较好的耐黄变性、热稳定性和低温柔韧性。
采用硅烷氧基封端的聚氨醋改性端丁基防水嵌缝胶,所获得的改性丁基防水嵌缝胶不但具有聚氨醋改性胶的优点,而且避免了聚氨醋改性时高含量的固化物起泡等不足,具有良好的综合性能,其特色包括:①更高的透明性:避免了异氰酸醋封端聚氨醋改性时存在的两种不同固化机理可能导致的相分离,使丁基防水嵌缝胶透明性提高;②更高的力学强度和粘结强度:硅烷氧基封端的聚氨醋主链与上述聚氨醋相同,端基是与端硅烷聚醚相同的硅烷氧基Si-OR,因此不但能形成上述的氢键作用,还可通过端基的缩合形成化学连接,使改性胶获得力学强度和粘结强度的提高。
丁基防水嵌缝胶具有优良的耐候性、耐热性、耐寒性、粘结性等综合性能,近年来受到广泛关注,并已大量应用于建筑、汽车等领域。与丁基防水嵌缝胶相比,它具有更好的耐久性和表面可涂饰性;与聚氨醋丁基防水嵌缝胶相比,具有更好的耐黄变性、储存稳定性和固化物不起泡等。丁基防水嵌缝胶的主要成分为MS树脂,其主链为柔性的氧化丙烯聚醚链段,端基为具有反应活性的硅烷氧基,因此胶的固化过程是硅氧烷基与空气中的湿气反应,通过其水解和缩合实现交联,从而得到具有交联结构的弹性体。
端基硅烷氧基的水解缩合反应速度和反应的完成度在一定程度上影响施工性能和使用性能,包括丁基防水嵌缝胶表干时间、压缩回弹性和粘结性等,这通常是通过添加适量的催化剂来控制的。虽然金属锡、铁铅等的脂肪酸盐、钦酸醋类化合物都能促进MS丁基防水嵌缝胶的室温硫化,但有机锡类的催化剂因选择种类较多、与体系相容性好、催化效果较明显等优点被广泛使用,如二丁基双(乙酞丙酮基)锡可催化丁基防水嵌缝胶在室温快速固化。也有报道以邻苯二甲酸二丁基锡与邻苯二甲酸二辛脂的混合物为催化剂,得到室温1h固化的丁基防水嵌缝胶。其中,二月桂酸二丁基锡是目前工业中应用最广泛的有机锡催化剂。
本章采用2,2-[(二辛基亚锡)双(硫代)]双乙酸二异辛醋(TMA)为催化剂,对透明性丁基防水嵌缝胶的表干时间、固化流变特性、力学强度和粘结性能进行了研究。实验表明,与传统催化剂二月桂酸二丁基锡相比,TMA用量少,所制备的丁基防水嵌缝胶的表干时间更短,相同时间内的固化程度更深,粘结性能和力学强度更高。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
