通过在丁基防水嵌缝胶中加人含有烷氧基硅烷的聚丙烯酸醋类共聚物，共同作为丁基防水嵌缝胶的聚合基体，再配合其他特定组分，使制得丁基防水嵌缝胶的透明性好，且具有较高的力学强度和弹性，粘接性能稳定优异。制备选用烷氧基封端聚醚，通过向聚醚胶中添加改性炭黑，获得了一种高强度聚醚胶。该改性炭黑由偶联剂和炭黑以特定的比例制备而成，利用炭黑表面所具有的多官能团性质，如竣基、酉旨基、淡基等官能团，可形成牢固的化学键，提高聚醚丁基防水嵌缝胶的本体强度和粘接强度。偶联剂选择氨基硅烷偶联剂，有效地提高了丁基防水嵌缝胶的力学性能和粘接性能。

在制备丁基防水嵌缝胶时，加人了补强剂纳米碳酸钙和炭黑，获得了一种高强度的聚醚改性结构丁基防水嵌缝胶，其性能满足风挡玻璃粘接的性能需求，可以替代聚氨酯丁基防水嵌缝胶。
