MS密封胶底涂(又称底胶)是MS密封胶施工前涂在被粘基体上的一种液态物质，它固化后形成一层牢固的涂膜，强烈地吸附在基体表面上。这种吸附不仅是物理吸附，也有化学键的作用，即化学吸附。底涂层是MS密封胶与被枯基体之间的过渡层，因其与MS密封胶及被粘基体之间的粘结力优于MS密封胶与基材之间的粘结力，从而加强了MS密封胶与基材之间的粘结性能。

作用MS密封胶底涂主要作用如下:1)保护基面(抑制基体在使用过程中的腐蚀作用);2)改变基体表面化学特性，以适应MS密封胶;3)充填基体表面孔隙和增强表面薄弱区;;4)减少流经表面水分产生的毛细压力;5)使基面上少量减弱边界层作用的有机物溶解;6)渗人基材内部.增加基材强度影响底涂粘结性能的因素由于底涂自身的性能与MS密封胶有一定的差别，因此不同的基材和MS密封胶对底涂的选择不一样，对底涂的施工要求也不同，选择不当或施工不合理都可能在使用过程中导致底涂失效。导致底涂失效的因素有:1)底涂涂抹太厚;2)暴露时间太长，引起水解或污染;3)与基材表面或MS密封胶不相容;4)使用过程中固化不完全或固化过度;5)基面不清洁;6)受MS密封胶中溶剂的侵蚀;7)底涂涂刷不彻底;8)底涂超过保质期。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
