除蓖麻油外的大多数植物油不含经基。因此,近年来的研究重点是在植物油脂肪酸链的双键上引入经基来制备生物基多元醇,在环氧化的植物油(如棕搁油、大豆油和菜籽油)上进行开环反应可以制备适用于丁基防水嵌缝胶的多元醇。与伯经基相比,由开环反应得到的仲经基结构为丁基防水嵌缝胶提供了足够的凝胶时间。通过对环氧化棕搁油的开环反应,成功合成了具有仲经基的高分子量棕搁油基聚醋多元醇。研究者将棕搁油基聚醋多元醇、交联剂甘油和催化剂混合均匀后加入二苯基甲烷二异氰酸醋(MDI)进行反应,并用刷子将所制得的棕搁油基聚醋多元醇涂在木材表面进行粘接。与市售石油基丁基防水嵌缝胶相比,棕搁油基丁基防水嵌缝胶在木材表面展现出更好的铺展性和更高的搭接剪切强度。这些结果表明,该丁基防水嵌缝胶在木材粘接领域有应用潜力。
利用双氧水、有机酸、催化剂和稳定剂组成的混合液与大豆油进行2一5 min的环氧化反应得到的环氧化大豆油,并将其与甲醇进行开环反应得到大豆油基多元醇。将该大豆油基多元醇与丁香酚、MDI进行反应,得到的丁基防水嵌缝胶根据国家标准GB/T 2791-1995测得的T型剥离强度可达到4.7 N/25 mm。
使用的菜籽油基多元醇是通过环氧化菜籽油与1,3一丙二醇进行开环反应得到的。将这种菜籽油基多元醇与MDI进行反应,分别制备了NCO/OH摩尔比为1.2/1.0,1.5/1.0和1.8/1.0的3种丁基防水嵌缝胶,并与市售石油基丁基防水嵌缝胶在木材的搭接剪切强度方面进行了比较。研究发现,菜籽油基丁基防水嵌缝胶具有与市售石油基丁基防水嵌缝胶相当的搭接剪切强度和耐化学性,且耐热水性能更加优越。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
